Leave Something in your Will
During our lifetime we all have the choice of leaving a legacy. If we have no heir and do not make a will, the state will be our inheritor, and our estate will then be sold off at public auction.
Making a will enables us to avoid misunderstandings and inheritance disputes, and allows us to specify who we wish to benefit from our estate.
Another option is to make our estate over to good causes and make a bequest in the form of a gift to a not-for-profit organization which puts our fellow man at the core of its values. This form of giving, while common practice in other countries, is only now being embraced here in the Czech Republic.
Leaving a financial bequest is not something for only rich people to consider. For a not-for-profit organization, even a modest sum can go a long way to help.
If you would like to help in this way, we would be very grateful. If you are thinking of making a bequest to NADĚJE in your will, please contact Martina Hradecká, who will be pleased to provide the required information and support.

What can I give?
For charitable purposes we can bequeath our estate in total or in part. A bequest can consist of property and goods (such as a house, car, works of art, copyright, insurance or money). The legalities of making a will are quite complicated, and legal advice should be sought to ensure that your property is dealt with in the way you intend.
What will happen to my gift?
If you have a specific request about the way in which your gift is to be used, this will, of course, be respected. The easiest way to ensure that this happens is to have everything arranged beforehand by contacting our Head of Finance above.
